Work begins on Legend Flats in Evans

EVANS – Construction is under way at a 176-unit multi-family project called Legend Flats in Evans.

The project broke ground April 30 and will consist of 11 buildings encompassing 183,000 square feet and will cost about $20 million, according toe Eric Larsen, director of business development for Lamar Construction, the general contractor on the project.

The first building is expected to be open in mid-August, and full build-out is expected to take about a year, Larsen said.

The project will create roughly 100 construction jobs.

The project is located at 34th Street and Aspen Avenue. Owned by Scott Ehrlich, it is the first in a series of new multi-family complexes going up in the Greeley-Evans area, which has seen little new development in recent years.
