Whole Foods ups size of store planned for Village at the Peaks

LONGMONT – Whole Foods said Thursday it is increasing the size of its store planned for the Village at the Peaks, the new name for the former Twin Peaks Mall in Longmont being redeveloped by Fort Collins-based NewMark Merrill Mountain States.

Whole Foods Market will increase its in-store square footage to 40,600 square feet from 30,000 as originally announced.

“The residents of Longmont have been central to our success in Boulder County since we arrived over 15 years ago,´ said Will Paradise, president of Whole Foods Market’s Rocky Mountain Region, in a press release. “Their continued support, combined with recent feedback from customers in Longmont, encouraged us to increase the size of the store in order to meet their expectations,” he said.
