Exploring & expressing grief

Support groups and events, as well as creative therapies and professional counseling, are all ways in which Pathways supports individuals dealing with grief and loss.

According to Weld County Commission chairwoman Barbara Kirkmeyer, “The commissioners started the Small Business Incentive Program with businesses like West Greeley Self Storage in mind. The program is designed to promote economic activity in our county by helping small businesses afford the startup costs and fees.”

The idea for the program was born in 2011, when Weld County commissioners participated in a statewide economic-development strategy that resulted in a bottom-up approach to economic development. After the plan was put in place, the commissioners set aside $500,000 from the county’s Economic Development Fund to develop the program.

More information is available on the county’s website.
