Colorado small businesses are less likely to change health insurers for the upcoming year, even as they anticipate continued price increases, according to the second-annual Delta Dental of Colorado Small Business Survey.

The new E-Purchasing web site is being launched to help agencies better share resources, lower and eliminate paperwork production, and reduce cost for both the agency and tax payers.
“The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System will save time and tax-payer dollars,´ said Trevor Jiricek, director of general services for Weld County. “The system provides vendors easy access to view bid opportunities, addendums and bid results from Weld County, as well as numerous other Colorado agencies.”
The county will no longer leave a paper trail as it eliminates mailing postcards to vendors with new project information. Although vendor registration on the E-Purchasing site is free, if they wish to receive email updates and profile matches there is an option to pay an annual fee.
“Our goal is to improve the efficiency of the county bid process,” Jiricek said. “The online system will help us reach more vendors and will require less staff time than our current system.”
Project bidding information will continue to be updated on the county web site and will link interested vendors to the E-Purchasing site. The E-Purchasing site will maintain the project list and provide updated information, as well as take vendor requests into consideration. Vendor profile matching with projects and in-depth analysis will be added features.
Board of Commissioner Chairman William Garcia is also encouraged by the digitization of county project information.
“We are excited about the opportunity this new service will provide,” he said.
