Weather delays grain-corn harvest

Planting of grain corn was late this year because of a wet spring, and now producers trying to finish the harvest are dealing with early winter storms.

The Greeley Tribune reports that about 83 percent of the state’s grain crop had been harvested as of Sunday, down only slightly from the same time last year.
