Waypoint moving loan-production office from Longmont to Loveland
LONGMONT — Nebraska-based First Bank & Trust Co., has received approval from the Colorado Division of Banking to open a loan-production office at 2114 N. Lincoln Ave. in Loveland, scrapping plans for an office in Longmont.
Last August, the Cozad, Neb.-based bank, doing business as Mountain View Bank in Colorado and using the name Waypoint Bank for the loan-production office, was approved to open an office at 1155 S. Main St. in Longmont, after being approved for an office in Frederick.
The bank hired longtime community banker Tom Beckett as its Northern Colorado market manager. Beckett was working the market from his home, but the office in Longmont never opened, Beckett said Monday.
