Village at the Peaks liquor store raises $300K

The owner of the 24,000-square-foot liquor store that will be part of Longmont’s Village at the Peaks shopping center has raised $300,000 in equity funding from a pair of investors, according a document filed recently with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The offering by Wyatt’s JV LLC, a Loveland-based entity led by Dennis Dinsmore, is for up to $3 million.

Wyatt’s JV, according to Colorado Secretary of State’s documents, intends to do business as Wyatt’s Wine and Spirits, the store Village at the Peaks developer NewMark Merrill Mountain States announced in August had joined the list of tenants.

Village at the Peaks, an $85 million redevelopment of the Twin Peaks Mall, is slated to open in time for the 2015 holiday season.

Wyatt’s is slated to be at the south end of the development near a new Whole Foods. Those stores are two of six anchors signed on so far for the project along with a Sam’s Club, Regal Cinemas movie theater, Sports Authority and Gold’s Gym.
