Vestas holding job fair for 400 openings in Windsor

WINDSOR – Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems A/S (OMX: VWS) confirmed Wednesday that it plans to hire an additional 400 production workers at its Windsor blade factory.

Vestas will hire 300 employees and another 100 temporary employees in production and production support.

Starting pay will range from $13 for production support workers to $16 per hour for production workers. Vestas offers competitive benefits, including health care, retirement plans with a company match, and vacation pay.
