The group has nine cafes and restaurants, including two locations on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus, one at the Jenny Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building and another at the Leeds School of Business building.
The Denver-based family-owned business established in 1994 came up with the new names through a contest.
“Initially we were in search of one company name,´ said Etai Baron, chief executive of the Baron Group. “When we received positive feedback about not just one, but three possible company names, we were inspired to zig when we originally planned to zag. Each person whose entry was selected will receive a party for 20, worth up to $1,000.
