U.S. 36 to close overnight for bridge install

Boulder – The Colorado Department of Transportation will temporarily close U.S. 36 overnight between McCaslin Boulevard and the Interlocken Loop. The closure affects the eastbound and westbound lanes and will occur between 9:30 p.m. today and 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

The closure is being done to allow a new bike bridge to be installed. The project is part of the U.S. 36 Express Lanes Project that includes single and high occupancy vehicle express lanes, a bus rapid transit system and a commuter bikeway.
