U.S. 34 Business Route to reopen in Greeley

GREELEY – The Colorado Department of Transportation plans to reopen U.S. 34 Business Route along 18th Street in Greeley following damage by flooding.

The transportation department aims to reopen that stretch of road either this weekend or next week, spokeswoman Amy Ford said.

“It’s another small piece, but a good, critical route for access,” she said.

The Gov. John Hickenlooper’s office also said this week that it will reopen U.S. 36 between Lyons and Estes Park on Monday.

U.S. 34 is open from Estes Park to Drake for local access only.
