Trelora launches site disclosing Denver, Boulder home-sale commissions

Denver-based real estate brokerage Trelora Realty is aiming to cause upheaval to the commission structure for home sales in the Denver and Boulder markets.

The Denver Post reports that the company, which charges buyers a flat $3,000 fee, will start publishing on its website the commissions that sellers have agreed to pay buyers’ brokers.

The company says it has the rates for 95 percent of listings in the area, helping give buyers leverage to negotiate with their brokers.
