Three-story project proposed for Midtown Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS — A three-story mixed-use project is planned at the intersection of Prospect Road and College Avenue in Fort Collins.

According to documents filed with the city, the project would be located at 221 W. Prospect Road, and would include 29 multi-family units and 1,038 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, as well as its own parking structure.

The project will be developed by a limited liability corporation called Prospect Station.

Plans call for razing a vacant building that is standing on the site right now. That building was previously used as a Gasamat gas station.

Cost of the project was not immediately known. The plans are in the first stages of city review, but construction will hopefully begin in September, according to Cathy Mathis of TB Group, the landscape architect that submitted the plans.
