Synergy Resources expands Denver HQ with move
Synergy Resources Corp. (NYSE: SYRG) started out headquartered in Platteville in Weld County, but as the oil and gas sector boomed, shifted that headquarters to Denver. That made sense for the company. While Weld County dominates Colorado oil and gas production, most of the energy companies are headquartered in Denver.
Now, the Denver Business Journal reports that Synergy will move from its headquarters location at 1625 Broadway into a larger space in an adjacent tower. A source told the DBJ’s Molly Armbrister that the expansion might signal that an upswing in Denver’s oil and gas sector.
