Survey: Kaiser Permanente ranks No. 1 in health promotion
The nonprofit’s 2013 eValue8 survey is an annual health care accountability and quality improvement assessment used by employers to manage the quality and efficiency of America’s health plans.
The Colorado Business Group on Health, an organization that educates businesses on health care, is one of several statewide coalitions to participate in the project.

“We use the information collected in the eValue8 survey to judge and track health plan’s outcomes and their approach to their Colorado customers,´ said Bob Jamieson, president of Colorado Business Group on Health, in a statement from Kaiser. “We are looking for plans that deliver a high value product and that collaborate on projects important to our community.”
EValue8 ranks health plans based on results from a national survey of health plans. Kaiser Permanente Colorado received the top score in the nation in Prevention and Health promotion, which includes the following:
· Cancer screenings
· Immunization programs
· Tobacco cessation
· Weight management
· Obstetrics
· Health promotion, worksite wellness and health assessments
