Sunday night jitters

It’s Sunday night. I am exhausted from the grocery shopping, yard work, car washing, laundry and housecleaning. Sound familiar? Even the little bit of fun I managed to squeeze in around all the chores and errands felt more draining than relaxing. What a way to live!
Sunday brings thoughts of Monday. Monday brings another set of challenges and obligations. The week ahead is crazy-busy. I am juggling as fast as I can and I am worn out. I am anxious. 
Anxiety leads to burnout. Burnout can lead to depression and illness.
So, I am making it a priority to turn down the noise in my life. I will slow down and do what matters most. I will say, “No.” And I won’t feel guilty.
I don’t’ know about you, but I don’t want to spend another Sunday dreading Monday.
