Summit to feature health-care topics, job fair

LOVELAND — Members of the business community can learn about changes in the health-care industry and how they will impact their companies, employees and families at a “Health Care in Your Future” summit beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday at Embassy Suites Loveland, 4705 Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland.

The sixth annual event, hosted by the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce, is underwritten by area businesses that participated in the Moving Fort Collins Forward! campaign last fall.

The day will include a keynote presentation from Jared Landis, director of the Post-Acute Care Collaborative and national spokesperson of The Advisory Board Co. A panel will feature sponsors and local health-care providers discussing the impact of health care on Northern Colorado small businesses, the importance of laughter for well-being, and information regarding Amendment 69, the universal health-care initiative on which Colorado residents will vote in November.
