Sudden closure spurs investigation of Windsor vet practice
The Windsor police department is investigating the Peak Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Hospital after a fraud complaint followed the company’s April 3 closure.
The Coloradoan reports that the complaint was originally made with the Johnstown police, who turned the investigation over to Windsor. The closure has left several clients trying to work through acquiring their pets’ medical records.
The 24-hour clinic moved from Loveland to Windsor in 2008, and relocated into its now shuttered space at 4650 Royal Vista Circle just last year.
