Soil treatment company buys $2.4 million space in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS – Organic Earth Industries has purchased a 37,450-square-foot industrial space in Fort Collins for $2.4 million.

The company is based in Northern Colorado and produces fertilizers, mulches and soil builders. The company purchased 2479 International Blvd on Nov. 9.

The building is occupied by Educator’s Outlet, a provider of math, science, language arts and early childhood products. Educator’s Outlet will remain in 75 percent of the building for the first year, then will scale back to occupy 50 percent of the building in year two.

Most of the building is industrial space used as a distribution warehouse, but about 6,000 square feet is office space.

Travis Ackerman of Cassidy Turley Northern Colorado, Matt Haskell of URealty and Dan Eckles of Realtec were the brokers involved in the transaction.
