FORT COLLINS – Sierra Trading Post, an outdoor retailer based in Cheyenne, Wyo., said Monday the company is opening a satellite office in Fort Collins.
A group of at least 10 employees will split their time between the new office, called the Fort Collins Technology Campus, and company headquarters in Cheyenne, spokeswoman Steph Merkle said. About 10 additional employees will work in Fort Collins.
Employees in the Fort Collins office will focus on developing technology such as online applications as well as performing website updates and information technology tasks.
“We just found that a lot of our staff was coming from Fort Collins anyway,” Merkle said. “We’ve been really focused on technology in the last couple years, just really expanding that area. Fort Collins is a great market for that.”
