S4 Inc. will add 100 workers in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS — Defense contractor S4 Inc. will add approximately 100 workers in Colorado Springs, The Gazette reports. The hiring will enable the company to complete a five-year, $99 million contract to manage information-technology services to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and the Northern Command. The contract was awarded in November.

Bedford. Mass.-based S4 currently employs 140 employees in Colorado Springs. Some of the new hires will come from Harris Corp., which currently manages IT services for the two commands.
