Rose to offer medical services in Loveland

LOVELAND — Rose Medical Center in Denver plans to make a foray into Northern Colorado, offering some of its medical services in Loveland by early spring, according to a hospital official.

The hospital has leased approximately 2,333 square feet in Unit 120 at 1808 Boise Ave., near Banner Health’s McKee Medical Center, and plans to open a health center with five examination rooms, said Abigail Kesner, director of marketing and public affairs for Rose.

“It’ll be a time-share space for some of our physicians to go up there and provide services to the community so patients wouldn’t have to drive all the way down here” to the hospital on Ninth Avenue east of Colorado Boulevard in Denver, Kesner said.

Bariatric and other yet-to-be-determined specialties will likely be offered at the office, Kesner said, adding that, “Of course, any procedures that would require an operating room would be done at the hospital.”

Aspen Medical Group formerly owned the entire building but broke it up into units. Rose is leasing its unit from PDQ Properties LLC. Larry Hawe and Rhett Strom of Sperry Van Ness/Denver Commercial real estate represent the landlord, and Daniel Burke of CBRE Inc. represents the tenant.
