Swanner, who joined RLE in 2012, will be responsible for continuing the company’s steady growth in the data-center and facilities markets, expanding its channel program, and overseeing its general operations, including product innovation and development, customer support and business development.

In February 2015, Swanner was named RLE’s executive vice president and put in charge of RLE’s spinoff, Future Resources Engineering, which helps data-center operators reduce energy consumption. RLE general manager Tim Hirschenhofer will lead the Future Resource Engineering division, reporting to Swanner.

RLE and Future Resource combined have 22 employees, three of whom are split between the two divisions that are located at 104 Racquette Drive.

“Data centers and critical facilities provide the crucial backbone for a variety of industries that affect our daily lives,” Don Raymond, founder and chief technology officer of RLE Technologies, said in a prepared statement. “Throughout his career, Jeremy’s results-oriented approach and unique business acumen have played a vital role in increasing strategic partnerships and driving sales at a number of companies. He has an impressive record of success in this marketplace, and I am delighted that he has agreed to be the next president of RLE Technologies.”
