Retail buildings near CSU campus sell for $3.1 million

FORT COLLINS — Real estate investors have purchased two retail buildings near the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins for $3.1 million.

Steve and Heather Peck, operating as College Team SH LLC, bought 10,178 square feet of retail space at 649 S. College Ave. and 112 W. Laurel St. from Richard Mesec.
The building on South College Avenue is 7,778 square feet and houses Sienna Tan, Chipotle Mexican Grill and College Café. The 2,400-square-foot building on East Laurel houses Cold Stone Creamery.
Jason Ells of DTZ, who represented the buyers, said they bought the property as an investment and do not plan to redevelop the sites.
Patty Spencer of Commercial Real Estate Brokers LLC and Jim Mokler of Mokler Realty LLC represented the seller.
