Retail building in Erie sold for $1.4 million

ERIE – A 7,200-square-foot retail space in Erie has been sold for $1.4 million.

The building at 3160 Village Vista Drive is in the Village at Vista Ridge strip mall along Colorado Highway 7, two miles west of the Interstate-25 interchange.

Gurpreet Kaur, through the entity Village Vista Plaza Inc., used a loan from the Small Business Administration to purchase the property from Liberty Capital Inc., an entity created by Ohio-based Liberty Savings Bank FSB, which obtained the property through foreclosure.

Tenants renting space include Black Dog Coffee Shop, Charter Homes, Vista Ridge Cleaners and Village Vista Wine & Spirits. In addition to the property, Kaur purchased the liquor store and plans to expand its footprint, said Cobey Wess, one of the listing brokers.

Wess, Steve Kawulok and Dan Leuschen of Sperry Van Ness/The Group Commercial LLC listed the property. Rohit Mukherjee of Denver Real Estate Brokers represented the buyer.
