Real estate and lending forecasts on tap for ReCon 2014

Wendy McCray-Benoit, Julie Piepho and Brad Blackwell will keynote ReCon, the seventh annual Boulder Valley Real Estate Conference hosted by BizWest on Nov. 20 at the University of Colorado.

McCray-Benoit, the lead real estate audit partner in the Denver office of PricewaterhouseCoopers, will be making her first appearance at the conference and speaking about emerging trends in real estate.

ReCon runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is held in the Stadium Club at Folsom Field.

Re/Max of Boulder’s D.B. Wilson and Gibbons-White’s Lynda Gibbons and her team will kick off the morning with residential and commercial forecasts, respectively, for the Boulder Valley.

Blackwell, portfolio business manager for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, will address the national residential markets. Piepho, president of operations at Cornerstone Home Lending and a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Residential Board of Governors Committee, will be speaking on mortgage markets in 2015.

Afternoon sessions will cover: Keeping up with a hot market where inventories are low, area commercial construction projects, new local residential developments, and a glance at area retail redevelopments.
