Quinn Foods’ Lewis name to Fortune’s entrepreneur list
BOULDER – Kristy Lewis, founder and chief executive of Boulder-based Quinn Foods has been named to Fortune’s 2015 Most Promising Women Entrepreneurs list.
The Times-Call reports that Lewis is the first food entrepreneur to make the Fortune list in four years. Lewis created Microwave Popcorn Reinvented i 2011, the first patented chemical-free microwave popcorn bag. Early in 2015 Lewis launched her next product innovation, Farm-to-Bag Popcorn, which was the first snack with a transparent supply chain.In four years Quinn Foods has gone from a business run from an attic to a national brand found in thousands of stores across the country.
