Premiums of Medicare Part B, D for Coloradans lower than predicted for 2015
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) today announced that Medical Part B monthly premium and deductible will remain the same in 2015 as it has been for the past two years, in part due to the slower growth in health care costs since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, according to Sylvia Burwell, HHS secretary.
With 628,207 Coloradans and a total of 49 million Americans enrolled, the Part B premium and deductibles will cost $104.90 and $147 respectively.

Furthermore, CMS announced that Medicare Part A, which covers inpatient hospital, skilled nursing facility, and some home health care services, will drop $19 to $407 in 2015.
