White

Josh White was promoted to senior manager in the audit service area of EKS&H’s Boulder office. White serves a variety of public and privately held and venture capital-backed, early-stage clients in the automotive, high tech and alternative-energy industries.

Sam Scruby was named head brewer at Boulder-based Upslope Brewing, succeeding Alex Violette, who is leaving Upslope to open Pasteur Street Brewing Co. in Vietnam. Scruby has worked for Upslope since 2010.

Michael Corrigan, central division sales manager at Fort Collins-based New Belgium Brewing, was promoted to the newly created position of national field sales director. Corrigan, a Colorado State University graduate with 15 years of experience in the craft beer industry, joined New Belgium in 2008 as Colorado-Wyoming regional director.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Erin Balling joined Visit Longmont as marketing and sales coordinator. She previously was guest relations coordinator for the Office of Events at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Her more than 10 years of hospitality, tourism and marketing experience includes management positions at Anheuser-Busch Tour Centers in St. Louis and Fort Collins.

Rutkowski

Claire Rutkowski was promoted to chief information officer at Broomfield-based strategic consulting, technical engineering and construction services firm MWH Global. She has worked at MWH for 15 years and previously was information technology director for its Americas region.

HEALTH CARE

Kusek
Lanese

Dr. Patrick Kusek was named market medical director and Dr. Diane Lanese was named physician director of contracting and provider relations at Kaiser Permanente Colorado, the state’s largest not-for-profit health plan. A board-certified pediatrician who grew up in Longmont, Kusek joined Kaiser Permanente in 1998 and has been its primary care area operations chief in Northern Colorado since 2011. Lanese, board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, was regional department chief of nephrology for the Colorado Permanente Medical Group since 2004.

LAW

Brown

Broomfield-based attorney Loren Brown will become Colorado Bar Association president for the 2015-16 term. Brown earned bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999 and his juris doctorate in 2003 from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He clerked for Gene and Cyndy Ciancio while in law school and remained with the firm after becoming an attorney, becoming a founding shareholder of Ciancio Ciancio Brown PC in Broomfield.

Hundley

Laura Hundley, a partner at the Boulder office of Holland and Hart, was appointed to chair the Committee on Estate and Gift Taxes by the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation, the largest organization of tax lawyers in the nation. Her two-year term started July 1.

Betz

Faith Betz joined Coan, Payton & Payne LLC, representing clients in elder, probate and immigration law. She previously managed a solo practice in Loveland for 10 years and developed planned-giving programs for The Wilderness Society in Washington, the Foundation to Support Animal Protection in Norfolk, Va., and the Best Friends Animal Society in Kanab, Utah. Coan, Payton and Payne has offices in Fort Collins, Greeley, Denver and Steamboat Springs.

MANUFACTURING

Claire Fahie-Conley was named vice president for North American retail at Niwot-based casual footwear maker Crocs Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX). She will be based at Crocs’global commercial center in Boston, scheduled to open late this year. She previously spent 20 years at Reebok, rising to vice president for U.S. retail for Reebok and Rockport. She is a board member for Vital Impact, a nonprofit organization providing support to women age 35 and older in their pursuit of education.

NONPROFIT

Outreach United Resource Center, Inc. (the OUR Center), the Longmont area’s largest basic-needs agency, announced multiple changes to its board of directors resulting from term limits. The board’s newly elected leadership committee consists of president Chuck Philipp, owner of Alpine Physical Therapy; vice president Ryan Mason, financial adviser with Main Street Investments; treasurer Rick Burdick, senior principal quality engineer for Amgen Inc.; secretary Raven Astrom, employed with University of Colorado Anschutz Center; and immediate past president Bruce Robbins, president of FirstBank of Longmont. New board members, all residing in Longmont, include real estate broker Christine Cavalier; Jim Dykes, senior director of engineering at Seagate Technology; Jessica Greenlee, a biochemist with Merck Inc.; Angela Groeninger, an engineering manager with Xilinx; Anahid Katchian Logue, retired chief executive of Highland Technical Staffing; Lori Shrader, branch office administrator for Edward Jones Investments; and Kent Ware, a retired Integration Architect with Unisys Corp. These new and returning members join existing board members Carol Matheis-Kraft, a retired nurse and OUR Center intake volunteer; mortgage professional Duane Hahn; and Bill Prout, vice president and general manager of Sun Construction.

RECREATION

Bill Conradt was named head of global sales at Boulder-based backpacking-gear manufacturer Sierra Designs. Conradt previously was vice president for global sales at Cascade Designs.

OTHER

Reese
McClellan

Dan Reese and Paul McClellan joined the Boulder office of CRMCulture, a customer-relationship management consulting firm and Salesforce.com partner. Reese will be senior vice president for sales and marketing and will oversee the Boulder, Chicago and San Diego sales teams. McClellan will be senior solutions consultant. Reese previously was vice president for  strategic vertical sales and global alliances at Zayo Group, a global provider of bandwidth infrastructure services headquartered in Boulder, led sales and account-management teams at ReadyTalk, a web conferencing technology company in Denver and implemented a Salesforce.com platform at Intrado, a Longmont-based company focused on emergency services.¬†McClellan was a principal sales engineer at Salesforce.com for more than six years, and previously was a senior solutions engineer at SAP Americas.
