Ted Horton of Boulder joined Eide Bailly LLP, a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, as a technology business adviser. He has more than 17 years in the industry and more than three years in software development, with expertise including account management, sales and business development. Horton will work out of Eide Bailly’s office in Golden.

David Thompson joined FMS Bank in Greeley as senior vice president for business development. Thompson has been involved in commercial banking with two community banks in Greeley for 23 years and has 28 years of banking experience.

BIOSCIENCE

Vincent P. Mihalik has joined the board of directors of Boulder-based biopharma company AmideBio LLC. Mihalik has more than 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He was senior vice president, sales and marketing, and chief commercial officer of Amylin Pharmaceuticals Inc. prior to its $7 billion acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb in 2012. He has worked for Eli Lilly and Co., Roche Diagnostics, Boehringer Mannheim and Baxter Healthcare.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Allison Hines was hired as director of investor relations and Dawn Wirth was promoted to director of business development services at Loveland-based Northern Colorado Economic Development Corp.

HEALTH CARE

Following the acquisition of Fort Collins Family Physicians by Associates in Family Medicine Jan. 1, Drs. Stace A. Fritzler and Monica T. Serrano-Toy and certified physician assistant Quincy Crane of Fort Collins Family Physicians joined AFM and will continue to practice at the FCFP office at 2121 E. Harmony Road in Fort Collins, a facility now under the Associates in Family Medicine name. In addition, AFM added Dr. Mason Shamis to its staff at that location. Shamis will see patients previously cared for by Dr. Larry Merkel, who recently retired from Fort Collins Family Physicians.

REAL ESTATE

Jaio Osborne and Dudley Kirkpatrick have joined The Group Inc. Real Estate in Fort Collins and Loveland, respectively, as broker associate/partners. Osborne has 15 years of experience in executive positions in the high-tech industry, she is a certified interior decorator, and is fluent in Spanish, French and Basque. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Bilbao, Spain.  She also has been an executive in a business that facilitated real estate investments for individual ownership or group syndications. Kirkpatrick, a native of Northern Colorado, recently returned to this area after many years in real estate and development in California. He has experience in land acquisition, planning, and development of residential, commercial and agricultural properties, as well as selling residential properties.

Re/Max Alliance added Longmont-based DeiterMcQueen Property Services, a new option for commercial property management: Jessica Deiter and Mollie McQueen make up this new venture. DeiterMcQueen specializes in physical building management, financial management, owner’s association management and commercial real estate sales. Deiter and McQueen have worked together for eight years and managed more than 1 million square feet of commercial property together.

Brooke Weathers joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Boulder as a broker associate. Previously, Weathers worked at Sound Health Boulder as co-manager and health facilitator. Prior to moving to Colorado, she was co-owner of Marlo Renovations in Maitland, Fla. Her responsibilities included property search, overseeing renovation crews and site development. Weathers earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Florida State University.

SERVICES

Boulder-based Arrowhead Solutions LLC, which aids small businesses in processes relating to government contracting, added Caroline “Carrie” Grigg and Douglas Wells as contracts specialists, and Lindsy Bentz as director of marketing and operations. Grigg has 10 years of experience in contract management and business development in diverse fields including IT, A/E/C, bioscience and energy. Wells has almost 25 years of hands-on experience in government contracting, assisting the federal departments of Agriculture and Education as well as an Air Force operational contracting office.
