Northern Colorado Economic Alliance establishes office in Loveland

LOVELAND — The recently formed Northern Colorado Economic Alliance will open an office at 1615 Foxtrail Drive, Suite 130 in Loveland, the alliance announced Monday.

Officials of the privately funded 501c(6) nonprofit, formed to advance the economic health of Northern Colorado, chose Loveland because of its central location and proximity to the Fort Collins-Loveland Municipal Airport to meet  travel needs of corporate executives, site selectors and business location analysts touring Northern Colorado.

NCEA’s mission is to promote a shared regional interest in improving the area’s economic health and vitality by marketing the region’s business attributes to targeted primary industry employers.

Rocky Scott, who recently announced his retirement from Fort Collins-based Woodward Inc., is serving as interim executive director while a search firm is in the process of selecting a permanent director. Mary Atchison is serving as chief operating officer, and Bruce M. Biggi is the group’s chief marketing officer.
