Nordstrom Rack planned for Foothills Mall
FORT COLLINS — Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc. (NYSE: JWN) announced Tuesday it plans to open a Nordstrom Rack at the redeveloped Foothills Mall in Fort Collins.
The approximately 32,000-square-foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2015. The new Rack will be visible and accessible from the main retail corridor of College Avenue.
The redevelopment of Foothills Mall will provide a more open-air, lifestyle-center layout. The property is being developed and managed by Alberta Development Partners LLC.

Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom Inc., offering on-trend apparel, accessories and shoes at a savings of 30 percent to 70 percent off regular prices. The Rack carries merchandise from Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom.com, as well as specially purchased items from many of the top brands sold at Nordstrom.
When the new store opens, it will be the fifth Rack in Colorado. Rack locations in the state include Twenty Ninth Street retail district in Boulder, Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, Park Meadows Mall in Lone Tree and Belmar Mall in Lakewood. The company also operates three Nordstrom stores in the state.
