Noble Energy teams with Tread Lightly! on Pawnee National Grassland program

Noble Energy Inc., a major producer of oil and natural gas in Weld County, has partnered with nonprofit Tread Lightly! on a new program to support multi-use access, sustainability, education and stewardship of America’s natural resources.

The initial focus of the “Nurturing with Nature” initiative will be on the Pawnee National Grassland in northern Colorado.

Tread Lightly! promotes responsible outdoor recreation through ethics education and stewardship programs.

WomenGive, a program of United Way of Larimer County, was started in Larimer County in 2006 as an opportunity for women in our community to come together to help other women.

Nurturing with Nature includes an educational program that will connect Greeley students with the outdoors by integrating outdoor ethics and skills education into local schools.

The program in the Pawnee National Grassland is expected to serve as a template to be applied in other locations across the country.
