New test to spot mobile-app problems

The test is named eggOn. The company bills the test as one that’s easier to use than the previous eggPlant for Mobile test, which is also made by TestPlant.

Mobile-application testing has taken off in recent years as consumers have moved to smartphones, Gillaspie said. TestPlant’s office at 3000 Pearl St. in Boulder employs 10 people. Gillaspie declined to discuss revenue numbers for the privately held company.
