New service to transport patients throughout NoCo

University of Colorado Health and Columbine Health Systems have partnered to provide a free van service to transport patients to designated medical locations in Fort Collins, Loveland and Greeley.

The “Connecting Health” van began service Monday, and will pick up and drop off riders Monday through Friday. The van will make stops at Poudre Valley Hospital and the UCHealth Harmony Campus in Fort Collins, Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and Greeley Medical Clinic in Greeley.

The service will also stop at the Greeley Emergency and Surgery Center once it opens on Nov. 26.

Signs will be posted at each location to note pick-up and drop-off spots. Those areas will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather.

Riders do not need to schedule a ride. The van’s schedule can be found here.

The van can accommodate 13 riders and it will be driven by employees of the Columbine Health Systems transportation department.
