HB14-1326, sponsored Colorado Rep. Dianne Primavera, D-Broomfield, creates a tax credit for businesses or individuals that purchase light-weight and commercial trucks that run on electricity, hydrogen, compressed natural gas or liquefied petroleum gas.
The bill also clarifies which vehicles are eligible for existing tax credits.
“This new tax credit will spur more investment into these developing technologies and create jobs across Colorado,” Primervera said in a prepared statement. “These electric and alternative-fuel trucks will also reduce pollution and make our air cleaner.”
