Nest Home Lending opens offices in Greeley, Longmont

LONGMONT — Nest Home Lending LLC has launched operations in Colorado, including locations in Greeley and Longmont.

The new Longmont-based mortgage company is a joint venture between Cornerstone Home Lending Inc., one of the largest independent home lenders in the United States, and Oakwood Homes, one of the largest privately owned homebuilders in Colorado.

“Cornerstone and Oakwood Homes have worked together for several years,” Gene Humphries, regional president for Cornerstone Home Lending, said in a prepared statement. “Our companies’ shared goals, mission, and values aligned to create the perfect relationship and lending process for homebuyers across Colorado.”

Support groups and events, as well as creative therapies and professional counseling, are all ways in which Pathways supports individuals dealing with grief and loss.

Scott Thorson, chief operating officer for Oakwood Homes, said the joint venture enables the company to streamline the mortgage-lending process, with lending officers working alongside those on the construction side of the business.

Nest is a  full-service mortgage banker that processes, underwrites, closes and funds loans in-house.

In addition to Greeley and Longmont, Nest has operations in Colorado Springs and Centennial, with an additional office to be added in Centerville, Utah.

Cornerstone in 2014 partnered with The Group real estate brokerage to launch Group Mortgage, which put mortgage loan officers inside offices of The Group.
