The money will come from NeighborWorks America, which will provide a total of nearly $50 million in grants to more than 230 nonprofits across the nation.
“Last year we provided emergency rent assistance funds for nearly 600 families, offered 126 safe and well-maintained low-income apartments in Fort Collins and Loveland, and counseled 231 homeowners facing foreclosure,´ said Lindsay Nichols, program director of Neighbor to Neighbor.
