Naturally Boulder’s annual pitch slam Wednesday

BOULDER – Naturally Boulder will present its 10th annual Pitch Slam and Party beginning at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Twenty-five entrepreneurs will pitch their natural products company to a panel of judges made up of past winners, and the panel and the audience will cast votes to determine the winners.

The event will be held at the St Julien Hotel & Spa, 900 Walnut St., Boulder.

The event includes the pitches, networking, cocktails and buffet. The group’s Autumn Awards ceremony and announcement of winners will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Awards will be given for Best Young Business, Company of the Year, Lance Gentry Breakthrough Innovation and Lifetime Achievement.

Judges will be 2006 Pitch Slam winner, Phil Anson, founder and chief executive of Evol Food; 2009 Pitch Slam winner, Nova Covington, founder and CEO of Goddess Garden; 2010 Pitch Slam winner, Julie Nirvelli, founder and head honcho, White Girl Salsa; and 2011 Pitch Slam winner Kerry Gilmartin, founder, Bamboobies.
