Mike Pruznick joins Fort Collins mayor race

Mike Pruznick on Thursday made the quest for Fort Collins’ mayoral seat a three-way race as the deadline for filing closed.

The Coloradoan reports that the field is set for all of Fort Collins’ city council spots. Pruznick, who is on the city’s parking advisory board, will face council member Wade Troxell and Ward Luthi in the race for mayor as incumbent Karent Weitkunat has decided not to run again.

Council seats in Districts 2, 4 and 6 are also up for grabs. The municipal election is slated for April 7.
