Ways to thank a caregiver

If you have a caregiver or know someone who has been serving as a primary caregiver, March 3rd is the day to reach out and show them how much they are valued!

Construction of the Class A+ office space is expected to begin this month. It will include two office buildings totaling 33,000 square feet, according to documents submitted to the Loveland Planning Department. The buildings will accommodate the company’s growing natural and organic beef business in the United States, as well as its expanding beef export business. The office development project will  include space for medical and office tenants.

“Our vision to provide the industry’s highest quality, best tasting beef along with our commitment to environmentally sound practices and humane animal treatment is what has allowed us to experience tremendous growth in this industry,” said Bob Meyer, owner of Meyer Natural Foods, in a prepared statement. “This project is a reflection of that growth and as we move forward from here, our vision will remain untouched.”

“University of Colorado Health and Meyer Natural Foods have been working on this very distinctive project over the past 10 months,” said Ron Kuehl with Realtec of Loveland, who represented University of Colorado Health in the sale of the property. “Mr. Meyer has an awesome vision for this project and its design, and has engaged a great local team to bring his vision to reality.”

In addition to the office development project, Hahns Peak Drive will be extended from Rocky Mountain Avenue to McWhinney Boulevard, an estimated $1.44 million project scheduled to start later this month. Infusion Design is the architect for the project and JPL Development is handling the overall project management.

Meyer Natural Foods currently has its headquarters and administrative offices at 4850 Hahns Peak Drive in the Hahns Peak Office Park in Loveland.

Meyer’s product lines include Laura’s Lean Beef, Dakota Beef and Meyer Natural Angus. Its variety of steak cuts, including filet mignon, ribeye, New York strip and top sirloin, and ground beef are made from cattle raised on a vegetarian diet free of hormones and antibiotics, according to the company. The company works with ranchers in Colorado, Kansas, Montana and Missouri.
