McWhinney announces plans for new spec office building in Centerra

LOVELAND — McWhinney Real Estate Services Inc., announced on Wednesday its plans to build a new 56,000-square-foot office building in the Hahns Peak Office Park that is part of the company’s 3,000-acre Centerra development.

McWhinney is developing the building on spec, meaning it doesn’t yet have tenants lined up to lease the space. The company plans to break ground on the building, dubbed Hahns Peak Two, in July and complete construction in early 2016.

The new building, at 1880 Fall River Drive, will include two stories of Class A office space, with close access to retail and dining options, a shared lobby and about 225 parking spaces.

The cost to build Hahns Peak Two was not disclosed.

“We are thrilled to see Centerra continue to flourish as we bring much-needed available office space to the market and larger community,” McWhinney vice president of development Ashley Stiles said in a press release. “This project provides the ideal opportunity to build upon McWhinney’s commitment to creating great workplaces that connect employers to nearby amenities.”
