McWhinney adding apartments in North Park

BROOMFIELD – Real estate developer McWhinney Real Estate Services Inc. announced Tuesday it will add 250 apartment units to its North Park mixed-use project in Broomfield.

McWhinney, with offices in Loveland and Denver, will break ground for the apartments in late 2015.

“The timing for this development could not be better. We are excited to usher in the next phase of the North Park community,” Chad McWhinney, the company’s founder and chief executive, said in a prepared statement.

North Park is a 935-acre development located west of Interstate-25, between Colorado Highway 7 and the Northwest Parkway.

McWhinney previously developed locations for Prospect Ridge Academy and previously announced the planned additions of the University of Colorado Health medical campus to the North Park community.
