Matthews House to open Community Life Center

FORT COLLINS – The Matthews House will open a Community Life Center in Fort Collins in July to address the needs of inter-generational families.

The center will be located at 220 N. Grant Ave. and will include the participation of Poudre School District, Larimer County Department of Human Services and other local nonprofits.

The Community Life Center will provide services and specialized, enriching programs for community members of all ages. For example, parents will be able to attend a class while children can participate in supervised recreation activities.

Matthews House Executive Director Jerri Howe announced plans for the Community Life Center during the Matthews House annual fundraiser last week.

The Matthews House was founded in 2005 and works to help young adults and families in transition by providing resources and support necessary to take control of their lives and become successful contributors to their communities.
