Ways to thank a caregiver

If you have a caregiver or know someone who has been serving as a primary caregiver, March 3rd is the day to reach out and show them how much they are valued!

Stephen Sparn Architects has been in business for 35 years, and Sopher Architects has been around for 30 years.

Sopher believes the new firm will continue to cultivate the tradition of merging community service and engagement with “excellent” service to its clients.

“We share similar yet complementary areas of expertise and culture, as well as a vision of how architects can and should engage in their community,” Sopher said in a written statement. “Additionally, we have the good fortune of having practices built on compatible project types, client bases and workloads.”

Sparn expects the firms to complement each other and elevate the combined practice to a new standard of architectural distinction.

“We look forward to continuing our unwavering commitment to clients and to creating environments rich with ingenuity, purpose and sustainability,” Sparn said in a written statement. “This merger is about two thriving firms joining forces to create an even more robust, competitive and diverse practice.”

Sparn’s notable local projects include the Jay Road Family Farm, a net-zero energy custom home, multiple projects for the Boulder Housing Partners, the Broadway Brownstones and the Dairy Center for the Arts. The Dairy is gearing up to embark on a $5 million renovation.

Sopher’s current projects include S’Park, a 10-acre modern urban village that will include multiple buildings totaling 680,000 square feet of office, retail, restaurant and both affordable and market-rate residential space at the former Sutherlands Lumber yard in northeast Boulder.
