Representatives from the Chamber of Commerce will be on hand to present Perkins Managers, Pam Stathis and Juan Salazar, Franchisee, Eric Spanier, and the restaurant staff with a plaque recognizing them for their contributions to the economic vitality of the community. The public is invited and encouraged to attend the event which will include coffee and dessert. In honor of the occasion and as a means of “giving back,” Mr. Spanier will donate a portion of the restaurant’s sales to OUR Center, an organization dedicated to unifying community resources for residents of the greater Longmont area. The restaurant’s remodel package developed by Louis+Partners Design out of Akron, Ohio, includes significant external and interior design elements all of which, according to Spanier, “demonstrate Perkins® long-standing commitment to providing guests’ with a memorable and positive dining experience.” The exterior of the restaurant includes Perkins signature oval logo along with a welcoming interpretation of the entry arch and a contemporary take on the trademark green strip awnings. Inside, guests are drawn into a fresh, warm, comfortable environment showcasing an abundant bakery along with an array of dining zones. These dining areas accommodate upwards of 190 guests and offer different types of experiences through unique presentations in space layout, seating, lighting and graphics. The restaurant also offers free WiFi. The Longmont location, staffed by approximately 55 employees, features Perkins full menu including breakfast items such as omelettes and buttermilk pancakes that are available all day, a complete line of lunch and dinner offerings and Perkins freshly prepared bakery products.
