Longmont-based Two Moms in the Raw raises $2.9M funding round
LONGMONT – Two Moms in the Raw Inc., which makes a line of gluten-free, raw snacks, has raised $2.9 million from a single investor in a new round of equity funding, according to a recent regulatory filing.
CEO Matt Fuller could not be reached for comment this week, but the new cash follows a $3.5 million funding round from New York-based NGEN Partners in 2013.
Longmont-based Two Moms in the Raw, founded in 2006, was started by Shari Leidich after a 2004 diagnosis of multiple sclerosis caused her to switch to a raw-food diet. The company’s products include granola, crackers, snack bars and cereal.

Two Moms in the Raw moved from Lafayette to Longmont in 2014, leasing a 24,000-square-foot facility at 1200 S. Fordham St., that is roughly double the size of its old headquarters.
