Line of china dishes outline portion sizes

BOULDER – A woman in Boulder has started VisualQs LLC to sell a china pattern that helps people eat smaller portions – after losing more than 50 pounds by using it herself.

Sheila Kemper Dietrich named the china products Livliga – Swedish for lively, vibrant or vivid. Plates have serving-size circles painted on them to designate controlled food-portion sizes.

“Livliga is for everyone who wants an attractive, subtle way to improve and control their food environment,” Kemper Dietrich said in a press statement.
