Kroenke entity acquires Boulder shopping center

BOULDER — TKG Boulder Market Square LLC, an entity registered to The Kroenke Group, purchased the Market Square Shopping Center in Boulder Feb. 18 for nearly $23 million, according to public records.

Boulder County records show that The Kroenke Group’s entity paid $22,970,000 to California-based Acf Property Management through its entity Boulder Market Square 03 LLC. The shopping center at 1880 30th St. is anchored by Ross, Office Max and Pet Smart. The purchase also includes the free-standing building at 1890 30th St. occupied by Party On.

The Kroenke Group, based in Colombia, Mo., is headed by Stan Kroenke, and owns the Pepsi Center in Denver, along with professional sports teams the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets and the St. Louis Rams.

Acf Property Management purchased the Boulder properties in 2003 for $15.3 million, according to public records.
