Kentucky investors buy Colorado Springs hotel

COLORADO SPRINGS — The 126-room Hyatt Place hotel in Colorado Springs has a new owner.

The Colorado Springs Business Journal reports that Louisville, Ken.-based Schulte Hospitality Group purchased the 13,504-square-foot property, Dec. 21, for $8.4 million. The seller was a joint venture of Denver-based Sage Hospitality and Whitman Peterson, a California equity firm.

The hotel is located at 5805 Delmonico Drive.
